Carmel Caravan Park's position gives you easy access to many attractions; historical places, beautiful scenery and endless outdoor activities for all ages.
The park is in an ideal location for visiting such landmarks as Powis Castle, Clewedog Dam, the Elan Valley, Llanfair light railway, Bala Lake, Lake Vyrnwy, The Montgomery Canal and many others. It is also an excellent location for fishing excursions, country walks and all kinds of water sports.
The location of Carmel is truly ideal. Situated 15 miles from Welshpool and 10 miles from Newtown it is easily reached from all areas and is close enough to provide a weekend or short break retreat as well as a base for a longer holiday.
A great base to explore mid and north Wales with the resort of Aberdovey and Barmouth, with all their activities only 35 and 40 miles away respectively.
